Quanta Donates Five Lasers to the Vatican

Quanta Systems’ corporate slogan is “Taking Care of People, Our Masterpieces,” and evidence of the commitment was celebrated at an historic event in Vatican City on Friday, June 19. His Eminence the Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello and Paolo Salvadeo, CEO of Quanta System, hosted a press conference in the prestigious Raffaello Rooms in the Palace of the Vatican. Quanta System was honored for their recent donation of five laser systems to the Vatican Museums; two of the five devices will be used in the Vatican Museums for the restoration of works of art, while the other three are medical lasers, which will be used in hospitals in South America.

After the press conference, representatives from Quanta System and Quanta Aesthetic Lasers were treated to a rare tour of the Apostolic Palaces—including the Benedictions Room—where guests could see the balcony from which the Pope speaks to the world. The event was followed by 25 newspapers and press agencies, together with Vatican TV, the National Italian Television station RAI 2, and several US and foreign television crews.

“Our mission has been to help preserve immense wealth for humanity. Our lasers for the restoration of works of art and products for medicine and surgery are animated by the same principle: take care of people, our masterpieces,” said Paolo Salvadeo of Quanta System.
