5 New Devices, 17 Configurations including Prima Pico


GOLDEN, Colo.March 3, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Quanta Aesthetic Lasers received FDA clearance for 17 new configurations of 5 distinct devices, expanding their North American product portfolio for 2016.  The Prima Pico and Quanta Forte are entirely new technologies for the company, and the EVO devices are full redesigns of the best-selling Q-Plus, Light and MDK Series of devices that have been on the market for six years.  The EVO devices are “different from the inside out,” according to Luca Cerri, Vice President of Marketing and Education for Quanta System S.p.A, manufacturer of the laser systems.

The American Academy of Dermatology will hold their 74th Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.March 4 through 8, allowing dermatologists from across the globe to explore the latest innovations from Quanta Aesthetic Lasers at Booth 807.  Quanta’s newest devices are handmade in Milan, Italy, and have many novel features, along with greatly increased power and speed.  New on the Prima Pico and EVO devices are a 10″ Gorilla® Glass touchscreen, enhanced Graphic User Interface software, a premium footswitch, and a redesign of the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) attachment hardware and the chassis itself.  The Quanta Forte is a completely new device for the company.  It combines high-speed diode and intense cooling for pain-free hair removal, plus IPL, and the option to expand the device with Nd:YAG and Erbium lasers, all in one robust system that is expected to sell well in the medical spa market.
