Nd:YAG 1064 nm Laser Wavelength

The 1064 nm wavelength is the workhorse when it comes to tattoo removal as it works to remove the dark ink colors such as black and blue. We recommend that you always start treatment with this wavelength to fade any of the dark inks from the tattoo first.

 

 

Frequency Doubled Nd:YAG 532 nm Laser Wavelength

For tattoo removal, the 532 nm wavelength will remove colors from the red spectrum including red, orange, tan, yellow and purple ink colors.

 

 

OPTIBEAM™ II BEAM DELIVERY

OptiBeam™ II technology is extremely important for any application where Picosecond laser is involved. The laser beam profile must be as homogeneous as possible, otherwise longer healing time and side effects can occur. Indications for Use

The Discovery Pico Family is intended for use in aesthetic, cosmetic and surgical applications requiring incision, excision, ablation, vaporization and coagulation of body soft tissues in the medical specialties of dermatology, general, plastic and oral surgery as follows:

532 nm (picosecond mode) Indicated for the removal of tattoos for Fitzpatrick skin types I-III to treat the following tattoo colors: red, yellow and orange.

Indicated for benign pigmented lesions removal for Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV.

1064 nm (picosecond mode) Indicated for the removal of tattoos for all skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types I-VI) to treat the following tattoo colors: black, brown, green, blue and purple.

Indicated for benign pigmented lesions removal for Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV.

1064 nm (non Q-Switched – free running mode or PT mode) Removal of unwanted hair, for stable long term or permanent hair reduction and for treatment of PFB. The laser is indicated for all skin types, Fitzpatrick I-VI, including tanned skin. Photocoagulation and hemostasis of pigmented and vascular lesions, such as, but not limited to port wine stains, hemangiomas, warts, telangiectasia, rosacea, venus lake, leg veins and spider veins. Coagulation and hemostasis of soft tissue. Treatment of wrinkles. Treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris.
